I'm Echo.The owner of The One Groom,and the Founder of the Paw&Co grooming at Orakei.
I've been working as a dog&cat groomer since 2019.
I completed the full grooming courses and fully certified at Angela Pet Grooming Academy in Auckland,and worked for them for two years. I started my own business in Auckland CBD and ran it there for two years in 2022.And I moved my studio into a home-based business in Hauraki due to needing to care for my young child,which I operated for the next four years.Starting this year,I have also been running Paw&Co grooming studio service for the local community in Orakei Bay Village.
As an expert dog groomer, I understand that as an at-home dog&cat grooming service,it not only helps to make our fur babies less stressful and enjoyable during the grooming process,but it also convenient for me to give them one-on- one Service.
As my business grew,I noticed that some clients preferred to bring their dogs to the grooming salon,because it offers more services and gives the dogs a chance to socialise with others,so I opened a grooming salon with a small playground with fully fenced at Orakei Bay Village.
Personally,I think both types of business have their own advantages. I enjoy providing one-on-one grooming services for cats and anxious dogs,because they need a comfortable and private space where they won't be disturbed by other dogs or cats.
I am currently studying the Certified Pet Aesthecian(CPA) Program through Australia to become a professional skin and coat care specialist,and working in a salon gives me that opportunity,because this course requires a lot of case follow-up.
Whether I'm working from home or in the salon,my standard of care never changes.Every pet gets the same love and attention.I treasure every day I get to spend with them.
